Monday Moments: Andrea and Mark Edition, with a Katie and Brandon bonus!

I’d just like to point out, because I am *quite* proud of myself at the moment, that this is the THIRD blog post in 24 hours! Either we’ve reached the busy season, or I’ve been consuming too much caffeine. Or perhaps it’s both?
So this past weekend took us up to Wausau for the wedding of Andrea and Mark, the super cute couple in our blog header. Quick recap for those who don’t remember their engagement session: they have one of the cutest dogs ever, and I am slightly obsessed with Andrea’s shoe wardrobe. And because of that second little tidbit, I also love Andrea’s sister Dana, who used to manage a shoe store and therefore helped to contribute to the shoe collection!
This might be one of my favorite getting ready moments ever! Andrea used to work at a salon and some of her former colleagues made the trip to Wausau and brought the salon to Andrea’s parents home. There was lots of laughing as three stylists took on what I think wound up being ten heads of hair! I love that in this shot you can see Andrea’s friend waiting for the seal of approval, as the reality of being a bride starts to sink in for Andrea.
I can’t say enough good things about Dana! Watching these two interact made me wish so much that I had a sister to grow up with. And her maid of honor speech brought my first tears of the evening. Dana, I’m thinking maybe you should adopt me? 
Honestly, I don’t think it’s possible to take a bad picture of these two. Andrea smiles with her whole body and you can tell Mark is completely in love. Makes our job SO easy.
Okay, I’ve got to tell you how awesome these guys are. We did a lot of trekking through several parks after the ceremony and I know they were hot, but I never heard a complaint. And when I asked them to hold the girls bouquets because I was feeling especially cheesy, they totally agreed. And nobody followed through with the threat to kill me and toss my body in the water nearby.
As I type this, Andrea and Mark are chilling on a beach in Jamaica, and after all of the partying they did on Saturday they totally deserve it. Too bad they chose not to take photographers on the honeymoon…
Oh, and I promised a bonus to this Monday Moments. Sunday morning, Karl and I dragged our tired bodies out of bed and headed to Steven’s Point to meet up with Brandon and Katie. They are one of our 2009 couples, and they’re completely adorable. We were cleared to shoot on the grounds of Sentry Insurance and boy did we trek all over the place. Even though we were tired, Karl and I had a blast with these two.

And on that note…I’m heading to bed. This crazy weekend has taken its toll and I’ve got to rest up for Karyn and Nick’s wedding this weekend!
